Another milestone for UKTBC – Haryana Chapter, which successfully led a high-level delegation from the Department of Technical Education, Haryana, on a study visit to the United Kingdom focused on Industry-Academia collaboration.
The delegation was headed by Hon’ble Minister Ram Bilas Sharma (Haryana Education Minister), accompanied by IAS Srinivas, Director General, Board Members, and Vice Chancellors from leading Haryana universities.
During the one-week visit, UKTBC, under the leadership of Director Ceeka Chandra Shaker and Uday Nagraju, facilitated multiple MoUs between Haryana universities—such as Guru Jambheshwar University, JC Bose University, Pandit Lakhmi Chand University, and Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University—and top UK institutions.
These agreements cover areas including:
- Student Exchange Programs
- Joint Certifications
- Faculty Exchange & Internships
- Collaborative Researchin waste management, textiles, leather, and emerging IT technologies
Additionally, discussions explored funding options for Indian students to study in the UK, strengthening educational and research partnerships between the two regions.
